Business Mondays: MOO Cards

July 23, 2012

It may sound like a funny business name, but they do spectacular work.

Get stickers, business cards, mini cards, and more. Instead of ordering business cards with only one design for all of the cards, Moo.com allows you to upload up to 50 unique designs and each of those business cards will contain a different image.  The back side will contain the same information on every card.

I believe if you use my referral link, it offers you a slight discount with your first purchase.

Business Mondays: Issuu Books

July 9, 2012

I thought I’d share some business tools I found useful.

ISSUU.com is FREE (unless you want to upgrade to remove all advertisements).

All you need to do is login, upload your document, and Issuu will convert the document into a beautiful flip book (must have Flash Player).  I use Issuu to show off my Look Books for my handcrafted jewelry.  Others use Issuu to create beautiful magazine publications.

What can I upload?

Any PDF, PowerPoint or Word-document. Note that Issuu will compress images to 100 dpi which is perfect for viewing on the screen. Do not upload double page spreads as Issuu will turn your single-page document into a double-page magazine spread.

How much can I upload?

You have 15GB storage space, and the maximum upload per document is 500 pages and 100MB.

Check out my Look Books on Issuu: www.issuu.com/simplysparkledesigns
